Quantum Timber Finishes, as part of the Mirotone Group,  is happy to announce it is now a member of the Not-for-profit – Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA).

The GBCA is committed to developing buildings, cities and communities that are healthy, liveable, productive, resilient and sustainable. The GBCA does this by:

Rating and certifying buildings using the Green Star Tool, Australia’s premier sustainability rating tool.

Professional development programs including: Industry training, master classes and events.

Promoting Green building programs, technologies, design practices and operations.

Advocation and collaboration for development of better standards, policies and regulations for sustainable buildings and cities, with government organisations.

The GBCA is Australia’s most respected authority on sustainable buildings, establishing the only national, voluntary, holistic six-star rating system for sustainable buildings and communities – Green Star. Over the years Mirotone has developed and manufactured surface coatings that comply with the Green Building Council of Australia: Green Star–Office Design v3 & Office As Built, Table IEQ-13.1 Maximum TVOC Content Limits for Paints, Varnishes and Protective Coatings to the GBCA’s sustainability rating.
